Job Description:
Support the development of the Simulink and Matlab aspects of the CalSim tool by carrying out independently or supporting the lead engineer to complete the projects highlighted in the deliverables section.
- Strong analytical capability and breadth of CAE experience in Matlab/Simulink, also AMEsim simulation tool
- Proven success in complex system model development, validation and correlation
- Strong understanding of strengths and limitations of computer-based simulation
- Proven capability to identify and implement tool and process improvements
- A strong working knowledge of conventional and electrified powertrain architectures and operating characteristics
- Proven methodical, disciplined approach to data mgt
- Proven P/T system analysis & optimisation experience
- Experience of Powertrain physical test and/or calibration
- Use of programming languages for the purposes of analysis automation
- Use of version control systems such as SVN or Git
- Experience with object-oriented programming, preferably in Matlab
